The Chefs of Butcher's Cellar
Two Season 21 Hell’s Kitchen chefs—Alejandro Najar and Alyssa Osinga—moved across the country to open The Butcher’s Cellar!
The Butcher’s Cellar located in Woodway, Texas (a suburb of Waco) is honored to have two of the most sought-after up-and-coming chefs at the helm.
Alejandro Najar, hailing from Ohio and a finalist on Season 21 of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, is our Executive Chef. Najar has sharpened his skills crisscrossing the nation traveling as a celebrity chef for much of the last year, but is no newcomer by any means. He has been working in the industry since he was 14 years old and as a chef for the past 10 years. His self-described style is New American with Middle Eastern and Mediterranean undertones. For him, running a kitchen is more than just turning out great dishes; it is creating a true culinary experience, and he is looking forward to bringing his passion—and his food—to Texas!
Alyssa Osinga, also a Season 21 contestant on Hell’s Kitchen, is a Florida native. Osinga has been named our Chef de Cuisine and is excited to add her cultural flare to their creations. She has worked in kitchens from New York to Chicago and has traveled abroad honing her skills. Her most recent experience is working as an Executive Sous Chef in a vegan restaurant, but she doesn’t want Texans to worry! She loves meat!
